Dr. Rich Murphy is a second-generation woodworker, having started learning from his father as a child. Now, 50 years later, he is passing on that information to others, as a father used to teach his trade to his son. In addition to woodworking, Rich has an extensive background in other diverse areas, including theology, practical survival skills, and engineering. As surprising as it may seem, these all enter into his woodworking, especially the engineering, helping him craft beautiful pieces that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. His ministry and teaching background help him explain things in a way that his students easily grasp and apply.

Natasja Kruger is an experienced SketchUp designer, working on local and international projects.

Having a passion for all things design from a young age, her focus has always been in the creative field. It is no wonder she went on to achieve a Bachelor of Design, specializing in interior design. After graduating, she narrowed her scope in on interior architecture and designing interior installations.

Over the years, she has worked on many computer aided design and drafting programs, but nothing comes close to the accuracy and creative power of the one she will be teaching us in this course.

She also believes that education is the key to creating a better society.

As her career grew, she saw that there exists a big need for education on a variety of topics, and so; she decided to commit to not only building and beautifying the inside of architectural structures, but also the minds of those who are willing.
