Sigrid Stanic
Sigrid Stanic is a graduate artist at the Academy of Arts, fine art program. She has learned from academic sources as well as independent ones of internationally renowned artists and art teachers, through various courses and books and prepared for the entry exam by herself. This gives her a unique perspective of the challenges a self-taught artist faces and the ability to merge academic and non-academic sources to teach in a wholesome way that doesn’t leave out important points one or the other alone by itself would be missing. Lessons are made to be to the point, without the burden of unnecessary information, and with some fun facts and artistic life wisdom. She is well versed in many painting and drawing techniques: oil, aquarelle, acrylic, secco, digital…etc. So far she has had three collective exhibitions and one independent. She has worked on concept art and illustration for video games as well as books.
