About Your Instructor
Todd Porter
Todd Porter is a multi-instrumentalist with 15 years of experience teaching music. He serves as the horn section leader and arranger for Bonified Truth, supporting 2008 Toronto Blues Society winner Scott McCord. Todd also leads The River Pilots, whose debut album reached the top 10 on Canadian College radio Jazz charts in 2008 and earned nominations for Best World Music Song and Best Country Music Song at the Ontario Independent Music Awards. Additionally, Todd toured Canada with the Afro Funk group Mr. Something Something, whose album "The Edge" was nominated for a 2007 Juno Award.
