Arduino and Processing:

Dwight Bumgarner is a professional software developer with a degree in computer science from UCLA (the University of California, Los Angeles). He has 10 years of experience with Arduino, and is able to program in 13 different languages. His passion for Arduino and programming stems from the desire to make things, which come in many different forms. Dwight’s favorite projects include an Arduino-based robot that sorts Skittles based on their color, an interactive art display that automatically rings a phone when approached by visitors to an art gallery, and several mobile apps for different startups he has worked at. Dwight also enjoys hobbies such as playing basketball, learning new instruments like bass guitar and piano, and reading science fiction books. Both of Dwight’s parents were teachers, so Dwight grew up in a very education-focused family, and he believes that this upbringing combined with his Arduino expertise will allow his students to learn quickly and effectively.
